Oil selection
Use SAE 0W-16 meeting ILSAC GF-6B. SAE 0W-20 is allowed only if 0W-16 is unavailable; return to 0W-16 at the next oil change.
Refill and purchase quantity
With a new filter, the reference refill is 4.4 US qt (4.2 L). Obtain at least that amount; five 1-US-qt bottles cover the service. Warm up and turn off the hybrid system, wait about five minutes, then set the dipstick level between the low and refill-upper marks. Do not pour in the full package quantity automatically.
Replacement filter
One K&N SO-1003, confirmed for the 2024 Prius AWD-e 2.0 L. Follow Toyota’s service schedule and K&N’s installation instructions.
New drain gasket
Replace the single-use Toyota 90430-12031 drain gasket at every oil change. Use one new gasket; remove the old gasket before fitting the replacement.
