Electric transaxle inspection and fluid
Use the Mirai-specific electric-transaxle procedure. The guide does not establish the fluid product, service quantity or replacement hardware; those must be confirmed before a fluid change.
IntervalCheck sealed components for leakage at 5,000-mile/6-month services, with the listed transaxle inspection at 30,000-mile/36-month visits. Replace fluid at 60,000 miles/72 months and 120,000 miles/144 months only for the listed primary towing/car-top-carrier/heavy-load conditions; towing permission is governed by the owner manual.Verified
