Fluid handling
Use the specified fresh fluid from a sealed container. Keep it clean and off paint; bleeding and hydraulic repairs require the correct service procedure.
Service requirements
Before opening the brake reservoir, switch the ignition off and depress the brake pedal more than 40 times; then remove the cover and add newly opened DOT 3 fluid to MAX. Omitting this procedure can overflow the reservoir. Investigate repeated low level. Reservoir topping-up is not the brake-bleeding or complete fluid-change procedure.
