Genuine Honda manual transmission fluid · The documented drain-and-refill quantity is 1.8 L (about 1.9 US qt). Buy two separate 1-US-qt bottles (1.892 L supplied); do not pour in both bottles automatically. Follow the manual filling and level-check procedure. New drain and filler sealing washers are also required for the scheduled service; their exact part identities remain an open separate gap.

Level and compatibility: Use the specified fluid and the transmission-specific level-check procedure. Conventional ATF, belt-CVT fluid and manual gear oil are not interchangeable.
Severe-use applicability: Use severe intervals when the car is MAINLY driven on short trips (under 5 miles, or under 10 miles in freezing weather), above 90°F/32°C, with extensive idling/stop-go, with a roof carrier/in mountains, or on muddy, dusty or de-iced roads. Occasional exposure alone does not select severe.
