- At minor service inspect pad thickness, reset service display, complete the US multipoint inspection and check repair-kit completeness/expiry if fitted. Standard service also checks body/corrosion with panels open; brake damage/leaks/hoses/bleeder caps/pads; OCU backup-battery health with guided diagnostics; CTG label against ECU; cooling protection/level; engine/transmission/final-drive/steering leaks with front insulation removed; lights/headlight aim/horn/warnings; belts/latches; suspension seals/play; underbody/lines; and road test. Lubricate door hinges/stays/latches. Check spare/first-aid/warning equipment and sunroof if present.
- Service requirements
- Replace the ribbed starter/generator belt including tensioner every 60,000 mi for Q5 40/45; the exact Sportback API includes this same task. Check panoramic-roof drainage every 20,000 mi/2yr only with PR3FU. Replace fragrance cartridges every 2yr only with PR2V9. Neither optional feature is assumed fitted. No timing-belt or generic AWD-clutch interval is assigned.
